Cloudbuilt on Steam Greenlight!

Good day folks! Because, for certain, it IS a good day!

Finally I can announce that we’re trying to get our game “Cloudbuilt” up on steam! If you’re an active user on steam (own at least one game on your account) you can do the up-voting! I’d be so happy if you could spread this further and help us out! I would love you forever and shake your hand and hug you and smooch you! Okay maybe not the last part but yesss! We’re getting there!

HELP US VOTE, PLEASE!

Please help! T_T

Anyone from the US on my friendlist who knows a good deal about paper work required to get a passport there? Apparently a friend of mine has been “lost” in the system and can’t get a passport even with her social security number. Instead, she recieves some stupid forms made for illegal immigrants.

I’d really appreciate it if someone could give me any type of directions and I will be re-posting this in other places as well.

If you could re-post this I would be really grateful, this is super important to me. If you have any information at all, contact me at: poipoi.chen@gmail.com

Thanks. ;_;

Some fashion design, I want to sew some of these. ;3;

First thing I do when I wake up in the morning is listeni to my favourite tracks from Ghost Trick, trying to keep myself from bawling because yes, I am that ridiculous.
What can I say? The game was really touching and if theres animals and kids involved, I’ll become an emotional mess. :-I

Was listening to calm music and ended up painting this.

My to-be Guild Wars 2 ranger, Aen Hal Donea! I chose her hair based on what I felt was the most fun to draw plus this hairstyle reminded me of Trish from Devil May Cry.
I really look forward to the release! <3

some speedies, just playing around, from imagination.

In the aftermath of the attention that Cloudbuilt has received as part of the media boom last night, I don’t think anyone actually knows that Coilworks is a zero-budget, tiny indie company with some friends working hard together on a 3D in-house engine, designed by us from scratch and programmed by two people and is still under development. (Although it’s shaping up nicely!)Also, everyone’s working on everything and it’s actually our programmer who did the temporary animations for the alpha footage, so no worries! Alpha often mean things are meant to be improved. But yeahhh, since none of the articles really covered what type of company we are I’m not surprised that people might assume things. But it’s ok, it was a miss in our public relations and being humble and unknown as we were, we didn’t think it would matter. At some point however, we’ll have to do a formal introduction of ourselves, especially now that we’re receptors of a lot of attention and we’d really like to tell people more about ourselves and not remain shrouded as we have.Cloudbuilt wasn’t really meant to be a huge project, but seeing the high expectations, people might be thinking that. Totally appreciating the feedback we’ve received we do want to do our best to bring a great experience to their doorsteps.I’m glad that the majority seem positive towards the game though and there are some sceptics that we’ll gladly do our best to meet the expectations of, but we won’t be able to please everyone. We’ve also seen those who are totally against it because others like to compare our game to already adored existing platform experiences. But you know? I can understand their sentiments completely. I would defend a game I loved to the ends of the universe! (Edit: But know that we’re doing our best to create something unique out of our own ideas.)In the end, this is all good. I’m sorta happy it could rouse such interest to go as far as the discussions have. It just means people are interested in debating against each others either to support or to contradict our product. Also, every sceptic is a potential fan! …As my friend pointed out, I’m a worry-wart and he’s an eternal optimist. We make good team. Omnomnom. (Oh I wish I had a sandwhich right now.)So yeah, overall, a positive learning experience for us as a budding indie game company. Signing out! *Poof*

We got our first coverage on the preview trailer for our game “CloudBuilt”. *__* I feel sorta happy you know? Seemed to get a rather positive reaction from the reporter at least so now we have to work harder to meet peoples expectations!
